The 3am pee break.... especially when your snug as a bug in the warmth of down but after some 4yrs have not figured out a solution
Short of that is when I back yard push the quilts temp ratings...just the slightest creep of chill disrupts full potential of a nights sleep like last night as we are suppose to be in a big 18c by day warm up...yah right... -4c last night was coldest this past week and using my 20f quilts. Weather forecasting is highly questionable...

In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

‘Tis why we invented the tethered hammock pillow ten years ago. Dang ten years goes by in a flash.

My weak spot is not paying attention to the weather forecast cast if it’s nice when I go to bed. Not staking that tarp down low enough means getting up to do it in the rain or holding the side down from the hammock at 3:00 am while it tries to fly away in the driving storm. Not fun.

My week spot has been my underquilt, more specifically its suspension. I have picked up a set of triangle thingies and hopefully if that doesn't solve it i have also picked up a wookie! Both are untested a this point but one of them should solve the problem!

That worked so well, I now tether my top quilt.

Triangle Thingies worked for me before JRB changed their suspension. Now I do not use them.
The GL4 has replaced my GL3+1
