I've returned to sleeping in my hammock at home, but have been waking up and moving to the couch, sometimes because of post nasal drip which I did by taking an antihistamine. Other times, I'll go to the couch for no known reason, where I might side sleep or back sleep. I suspect that my feet want to have a little more separation, compared to their more intimate connection in the hammock. In protest, they message my subconscious saying, "move to the couch."
I want to stop that subversive message. Maybe by going to sleep with a seven to nine inch thick pillow between my feet.
