Curious if anyone has ever seen these?

Been doing some research and came across this hammock stand. It claims it can be adjusted out to 13ft in length, and 5ft in height. I plugged it into the hang calculator and it seems that you could easily get a 10" clearance.

Curious if anyone has any experience with these?

    Cheers!

Looks decent. Posted a question on the page asking how much does the stand weigh.

Yes I was curious of that as well. I may also verify that the height they are describing is the height from the ground up, not the length the poles can extend to. I have a sneaking suspicion this is the case.

I wonder what the weight limit is for it? This seems like a great option, especially for full-timers in a rented apartment. No holes to drill in the wall.

With that style of stand, hang your hammock tighter than you would ordinarily. The stand will flex when you load it, and you will be just about where you need to be, albeit pretty close to the floor.

Looks like the one my daughter bought from IKEA a few years ago. She used it once with her ENO. Then she bought another stand from a HF vendor.

I have one for the back yard. Its ok for the occasional use. Problem is if you try to use a hammock with a structural ridgeline you'll be laying on the ground. The stand isn't quite high enough.

Mine was advertised for a 15' hammock, 550lb weight limit.

Works fine if your using a hammock without a SRL. Have had the weight limit maxed out and it held up fine.

My worst night in a hammock was still better than my best night in a tent!!!!
