    A wide Wooki?

So, I am going to attempt to make Climashield "Wookis" for a WBBB XLC and a DH Darien.
The XLC is 62" wide (orange) and Darien is 70" wide (Charcoal).

I really do not want to go over about 1.0oz for the top shell of the wooki, but I can not find fabric as wide as the hammocks.

I can get the orange in 58-60" and the Charcoal grey in 58-60"

Will a "Wooki" being 2-4" narrower than the hammock be a poor fit?
What about 10" narrower in the case of the Charcoal color?

If I jumped up to a 1.6 hyper D or 1.7 MTN I can get it in the 70" plus width,, but are those fabrics suitable for an UQ shell? I am thinking they will be to heavy?

Is there any reason you couldn't do a seam in the wookie style base? I mean you'd feel it, but that would depend on how thick your hammock is. Doesn't have to be in middle either.

I was thinking about a seam,, But I suck at seams
Straight up sewing, I'm ok,, but fancy good looking seams, nope.

Sew that seam. No one will see it.
I think you won't be happy with the UQ not wide enough in my opinion.
