Timberline Trail - Mount Hood - Hanging sites

Looking for info on anyone who did the Timberline Trail last year with hammocks.

Planning a mid Aug hike, want to make sure it is hammock friendly.

    Thanks!

I did this in late September. 4 days, 3 nights. No problem for hammocks.

See my post about hammock spots on oregonhikers.org.

Best spots going clockwise: Ramona Falls or Sandy River, Cairn Basin, Newton Creek just south of crossing (go left up squirrel trail when trail goes right to find hidden hammock grotto).

Not for hammocks: Paradise Park, Elk cove, most any Meadows, glacial area on east side of mountain.
