2019 Sierra Designs Nitro Quilt

Howdy,

I received this quilt a few weeks ago and it is AWESOME! The lowest temp rating for this is 20 degrees but I never camp below 30 anyway so it works for me.

My favorite feature is the "hoodie" mode where you can cover your head (especially if you are like me and lost the natural insulation)without feeling like suffocating under the quilt.

I do not own a "hammock" top quilt and this one has worked great! I am using it with my Hammock Gear Incubator 20 and I can sleep pretty toasty.

Color options are very unfortunate thou. They look like flags.

Nice. Spendy though compared to some of our vendors econ lines. That said, Sierra Designs makes fantastic gear. I have a 30 plus year old -25 bag of theirs, that is still doing its job admirably.

I agree, the pattern feels like a flag but I don't mind as long as I am warm inside.

the peak-a-boo hood is neat. there's times in the sunroom hammock when the sun goes down I wish i had a toque with me, this would work. pretty spendy tho
