Bad buyer experience with ukhammocks

About two months ago I bought a under quilt. It said on the site that it would be shipped within a few days. After a few weeks I still didn't hear anything. Only after 3 mails I got a response that it should be shipped within two weeks. After 3 weeks I tried to contact them but only after numerous mails I got a response saying it would be shipped the next day and I would get a tracking number. Not so. After mailing them they don't even bother anymore to respond.

Is this company trustworthy? I have really bad feelings about this. Do others have the same customer experience with ukhammocks?

Welcome to the club. I waited 9 months for my order, and had to contact them several times before I finally received my purchases. They claimed that they had shipped my order twice before, and that Royal Mail lost it both times. I did believe them at that time, but have heard too many similiar stories since. I don't know why they continue to make and sell hammocks and hammock gear. My impression is, that they make their money with selling expedition travels and the hammocks are just a sideline. A sideline that is low priority. I'm sure you will get your underquilt eventually, but be prepared to work for it.

The owner Matt heads up all these expeditions & all you get is automated email answers ....but you will get your product . I ordered two woodman x Hammocks on different ocassions. Got one within 2 months time & another within 2 weeks . I will say communication sucks but they do make great gear & it will ship

I second this. Great products, well worth the wait. Frustrating, but worth it.

If they promised to have shipped the product and didn't, that is not acceptable for me. That is straight out lying. In the case of hutzelbein they did that 2 times.
Also in my case they continue to refuse answering my emails and their telephone number doesn't seem to work.
For me UKhammock is on the black list and I will have to warn other buyers doing business with them.
