hammock in an AMC or RMC shelter?

A couple friends invited me to do a winter overnight at a self service hut in the Whites. I have never stayed in a hut, except to have a snack and fill up my water. Is it possible to hang my hammock inside a bunk room? Has anyone here done that before? I just know I will sleep 100% warmer and better in my hammock as opposed to the sleeping pad I would have to borrow back from my son.

Some huts do have beams you could hang from but I don’t know if it’s technically allowed

Definitely not allowed. The winter caretaker will not allow it.

The only huts with winter self-service (Carter, Zealand, Lonesome) are well below treeline anyway.

Nope, there's no way to hang a hammock at Craig Camp, or Grey Knob, and as said, the care takers wouldn't allow it, I've stayed up there several times.
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

I didn't think so, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. The last hut trip I did in VT, as I was laying on the ground trying to sleep, looking up at the ceiling beams, it looked like my hammock could've fit just nicely out of the way. As I suspected it looks like it would be bad etiquette. I appreciate the amc and rmc, so wouldn't want to disrespect them.
