    RBTR DCF dry bags

Just completed my first sewing project. I bought 2 small and 1 large DIY dry bag kits from RBTR. Once I got the sewing machine figured out it was such a joy to do. Honestly, the hardest/most frustrating part was taking the DCF tape off the backing. You will notice in the pictures that the green one us a tad smaller....yeah, that was my first one. Haha. I have caught the bug and already ordered some more material for other various projects.

That's some good work. First sewing project? Looks like you got the hang of it quickly.

Thank you for the kind words. The first one (green bag) took me a bit of time, a couple re-dos, and some cutting off. But it worked out great on the end. Now I have 3 different sizes. I enjoyed it way too much, I must admit. Almost like when I first learned to splice. I was splicing amsteel and lash it left and right just to splice. Now that I am "hooked" on sewing I have a lot more possibilities.

I have done the small and medium bags. Getting the back off the tape is definitely the hardest part. I got the omnicolor ones and couldn’t decide wether to trim the non color portion or make it my seam allowance.

I thought the same thing, but ended up trimming it. I figured it might show through once it was all said and done and the bag was filled.

Yep, the outer perimeter is there so we can add order details to each blank. You can trim it off no prob. It probably wouldn't show through too obviously on the side seam because the tape would cover it a bit.
