As a gear spreadsheet kind of guy, I needed to solve the Ridgerunner conundrum. How to create a lightweight setup around a RR? I negated the weight of the poles by swapping in trekking poles that could serve that role. Great, now on to the hammock and insulation. I liked to option to be able to go to ground if needed and also have insulation that would make a shelter floor tolerable. I also needed a pack with a large capacity to store the extra bulk a RR (and requisite large tarp) requires. I finally came up with this: Granite Gear Virga 2 at 19 ounces plus either my Ridgerest or Z-Lite as a frame and insulation for a total weight of 35 ounces! Lighter than my other packs empty, this combo gave me my insulation for free, spreadsheet wise. And the RR is super comfy with a pad! Well, since I don't have the RR any longer, I figured the time had come to pass along the pack to the next RR user with dreams of UL comfort
Therefore, I have for sale one great condition GG Virga 2 PLUS two Zpacks Backpack Belt Pouches at .75 ounces each (the Virga doesn't have hip belt pockets).

Selling the lot for $140 (PayPal) shipped CONUS which is about 25% off retail.
