I don't have a drill, so I will have to look into getting someone to do it. How big a hole and how long should the cords be?

This is an amazing addition to a great system. I've got 4 holes to drill (WBBB, XLC)! Also interested in drill bit size.

You can size the hole to fit your cordage, I would assume this is <2mm cord. Length of the cord really doesn't matter at all. Whatever you feel comfortable with. This is just a loop of cord to use as a handle

Great update! Plopping these on the short list! I assume it's still the same link as currently on the site just the new ones being shipped will have the pull cord?

    Thanks!

3/32" and 7/64" bits will both work, the braided polyester cord we use is similar in size to our guyline or to zing-it. Length is whatever is comfortable, ours is probably around 6" raw length.

We have not yet changed the product photo for the accessory section (thanks for the reminder), that does come with the update too

In the video you recommend tying a stopper knot. It is demonstrated at the end of the working end. Looks like it would "slip" a long way. I'm asumming that was for demonstration purpose and that it would be tied fairly close to the buckles? TNX.

It shouldn't slip period but if it does it just lowers you down to the ground slowly. There are a small number of people who have gotten a bad set and had them slip at normal loads, I have experienced this also with one set. (If anybody gets a bad set that does this just let us know and we'll swap it out, but it is pretty rare). However if the buckles are turned sideways they can often slip so visually check them.

The backup is to stop the end of the webbing from slipping through, which would put you into freefall. So like if you are doing a very long hang or very big trees and you have a very short amount of excess webbing hanging down, the ends could slip through while you are still well above the ground, sending you into freefall, if you have lots of slack hanging down and they slipped it would slowly lower you to the ground.

These buckles are designed to hold 1000 lbs with no slipping or damage to our 2000 lb polyester webbing, different webbing's would yield different results though, UHMWPE webbing for instance would slip at lower loads and be damaged from that.
