    New Bandit

Love this new bandit that arrived in the mail today. That lime green is potent, but I sure do like it next to that Shoreline Prym1 under quilt.

UGQ quilts just seem to loft better than any of my other quilts. All my other quilts are great and warm and very well built, but dang that loft on those UGQs.

Good looking quilts! Just curious, Do your other quilts use treated down? Recently got a UGQ XL Bandit and I share a similar observation, though it’s just the impression I get— my older top quilts are Enlightened Equipment revelations that were made in 2015 and not nearly as conservatively rated as most cottage vendors today (Or even EE... supposedly they’ve really upped their overfill as of 2019), so it’s hard for me to really ale a good comparison.

    Nothing like a new quilt

I agree about UGQ being super lofty. I have read several articles about untreated down being more lofty than treated down. I have a 20° bandit with 2 oz overstuffed and when I get to camp to unpack the top quilt is almost like a spring! Just popping out of the stuff sack and lofts up immediately
