My wife just bought me this one, Paria Outdoor Products Down Backpacking Pillow, for Father's day and I just used it for a week and it's great. Super comfy. You can use it as is in hammock or add clothes in the sleeve if you want it thicker.

I've tried to go without a pillow and I need one. I have an old Wenzel Pillow that has lost it's fluffiness and is too flat to use comfortably when sleeping on the ground, but it's been perfect for hammock camping and after watching Shug's pillow video, I think I'll add a tether to one of it's corners. Here's an amazon link to the same pillow. https://www.amazon.com/Wenzel-49244-...dp/B002OC5688/

I just stuff it around my hammock, bugnet, tarp & sleep system in the bottom of the pack. Then I use the stuff sack for something else in the main pack compartment.

Another vote for the Nemo Fillo Elite Ultralight
I use two...one for my head/neck just softly inflated, one fairly firm as a leg pillow. They are quiet and feel soft to the skin.

I went with the air head lite from thermarest. The first inflatable pillow I found comfortable and packs down really small.

Nature hike pillow cover was a real game changer for me. It will fit on the sea to summit and can be stuffed with clothes if that’s your thing. It helps camouflage the plastic air bag and has a really great feel. I inflate my air pillow so my head almost touches the hammock and then the rest cradles my head and supports my neck. I don’t think it gets any better than that.

A number of people on this thread recommended the Klymit X pillow, either the regular or the large. You can get them right now on Drop at a bit of a price break: https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-klymit-pillow

They also have some kind of giveaway going right now where you pay about $10 in shipping and no charge for the pillow.

Thanks for that! I had one in my amazon cart for $19 for the past 3 months...kept hesitating. For $9.99 I'm trying it. Fraction of the size and about half the weight of my current pillow. I know it won't be as comfortable, but it's a nice option to have on the gear shelf. I have one of their seats and it's really nice. I could almost work that as a pillow, but not quite.
