I see I had responded to this thread right after getting the Z-Packs reversible stuff sack. I've been using it for a while and have no intentions of changing.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I have one of those and like the concept a lot. It just ends up being too lumpy for me no matter how I stuff it.

Indeed, that can be a problem. I am almost at the point that I need no pillow at all, so I don't stuff more than a clean shirt and maybe a fleece hat..

I have the 'bear' from Arrowhead Equipment. It has a little rope with a hook that can attach to your ridge line, is super light weight, comes with a stuff sack so packs nicely, and provides decent support although it works better for me if I wrap it in a fleece or some other clothing to bulk it up a bit. I like it.

I have a HG pillow that I've used for a while and like, I did somehow manage to lose the cord that attached to my ridgeline so I just rigged up another one. I like it and it works for me on all but the hottest of nights.

HG down pillow. Packable, extremely light and loop allows it to be teathered to any hammock.
Some days I can't tell whether I found a rope or lost a horse...

I just got an XL pillow from HG. Speaking of that loop, what exactly is it used for? Why does a pillow need to be tethered to a hammock? It's pretty long, too.

Just to keep it somewhat in place, but mostly off the ground if it does fall out of the hammock. Nemo Fillo has one, but he's not a leaper and likes it in his Freebird as much as I do, so he goes sans leash
