I am very selective when it comes to the choice of bed linen. I have problems with my back, so I sleep on two pillows. Thanks to this method, I wake up feeling good in the morning. I have tried pillows from different manufacturers, but most of all I like Dakimakura pillows. They are comfortable, soft, large and with an unusual anime design. My mom knows that I love anime, and she keeps ordering these pillows for me. I even take this pillow with me to sleepovers at friends places, because I'm used to sleeping with it. One of my friends really liked it and wants one for herself too. I guess I'll get her one for her birthday.

My Aunt Irma hand stitched quilts, and used Hobbs Tuscany 100% Wool Batting - Twin 72" x 96"

Use as a throw in the hammock, use as extra under-quilt insulation (between hammock and under-quilt).
Cut a three foot wide swatch, and roll into a tube for a pillow, unroll the tube and use as a neck gaiter in cold weather.
Place a short length as a cold weather neck scarf, or wrap the head (think mummy) under your storm cold weather jacket hood. Toasty warmth.
$32.00 for pure wool batting in twin bed size.
But wait, its a pillow, its a scarf, its a balaclava, it a twin bed throw, it is your under-quilt on steroids, it is a neck gaiter, it is a hand warmer, foot warmer, knee support heater...
Thermarest compressible pillow all the way for me. The small weights 7 oz and i will never switch. Could never get comfortable with a blow up pillow
I use a LocoLlibre down pillow with Multicam exterior works great!
Hammock Gear Premium XL Pillow
This is my luxury item for hammock camping. It is 5 oz versus 2.9 for the small (which I also had, but gave it to my daughter,) but it is so comfortable and I love it!
For backpacking I've used a small inflatable pillow placed in a pillow case along with some clothes, for bulk. For paddle or car camping I bring the super comfy Coop camping pillow. It's not real light or small, but actual memory foam does give deluxe support for my previously injured neck.
Last week I tried out Ikea's FORFINA inflatable neck pillow. It worked well. I will continue to use it, but I will wrap a shirt or blanket around it next time.

We love our MyPillow Go Anywhere pillows. Made with shredded foam and super comfortable. I've tried different inflatables and just can't get comfortable with them no matter how much I fiddle with the inflation.
A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants.
Glad I stumbled upon this thread. I’ve been using a S2S Aeros Premium inflatable. It works “OK” but I need something better for ground and hammock use. Going to give one of the options here a shot soon!
