My order date was 8-30, just got my shipping notice! Now to wait until it processes so I can see delivery time...doubt I'll have it for this weekend's adventures, but it should arrive by the 1st, true to their word.

Man this last couple hours at work has been rough. Had to watch my wife Carry in my xl on the security system.

My hammock was scheduled to be here today. But living in Atlanta where everyone has a job but no one works, that means it will be here by Friday at the earliest.

Mine actually came today.

I weighed the hammock, tarp and pad in their packages and the three total were near 7 1/2 lbs.

I weighed my DH Sparrow, UGQ winter dream tarp and my JRB Nest under quilt and the three total were near 5 1/4 lbs.

So for only a slightly over 2 pound weight difference, I will definitely be taking the Amok on some summer hiking trips.

Lol. I have been known to knock on the back door of the post office before they open once or twice or even go ambush my carrier before he gets to my house. . Lol
