Cumulus underquilts with Hennessy zip hammocks?

I'm trying to decide whether to order a Cumulus Selva underquilt for my Hennessy Explorer Ultralight Zip. Have people here experiences on Cumulus underquilts with Hennessy hammocks? Do they work ok with the asymmetric diagonal lay? Can you use the underquilt's side attachment points together with the Hennessy side anchor cords to make sure the underquilt stays in diagonal?

(I'm also still trying to decide between M/L versions of full-length Selva 300/450 or a 3/4 Selva 250, as well as whether to go 20F (450) or 35F (250/300), but that's another story.)

Didnt try cumulus on hennessy hammock. But I dont see any reason why it should not fit. The underquilt is wide enough so that you can set your diagonal lay without any problem. I would not worry about that.

I am 182cm high and I use M sized versions of all their quilts.

Hennessy Hammocks are standard gathered end hammocks - so any underquilt made for GE hammocks will fit, including the Selva. However, with my HH I found that the hammock tie-outs are not well placed: they tend to pull the quilt suspension out and can create a channel for cold air. My solution was to not use the tie-outs and live with the net in my face rather than feeling cold. These days I only use a Wooki, as it isn't suspended from the four corners and fits hammocks much better. I sleep very cold, though. If you don't, you might not feel the air channels.

You won't be able to get full benefit of the hammock tieouts. A "Wooki-style" uq is much better for HH.
Feel free to check out my Fimbul Twister UQ, made for HH http://fimbulgear.dk/?product=fimbul-twister-hh-dun

Look at arrowhead Potomac. Fairly inexpensive and totally built to fit a Hennessy hammock. Got my 3season a while back and it’s flawless.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm looking for an underquilt that can be found here in Europe, taxes and tarifs make it too expensive to order from US, and I don't think Potomac is available here.

    A quick update:

I ended up buying the Cumulus Selva 450 underquilt (the long version, since I'm just over the recommended height for the regular). It fits my Hennessy Ultralight Explorer Zip quite nicely. It's rated 20 F so it should perform fine as my only UQ for now.

The long version covers almost the full length of the Explorer (for the shorter Expedition, the regular version would definitely be better). The loops on the side of the UQ are just on the right spots so that I could attach them to the hammock tie-outs with short extra loops of shock cord (I think the same way JRB Nest is connected to the tie-outs). There was enough provided shock cord that I could make a primary suspension by looping the cord through all UQ side loops and the attachment carabiners, and then use the rest of the shock cord with the UQ corner line locks for secondary suspension. Seemed to work fine with no noticeable sagging or air channels.

I haven't yet spent a night in the setup, but based on my day testing I'm really happy with my purchase.

Well, if you read above, I'm in Europe so I really don't know about "cheaper".

A Long version of 20 F Economy Incubator costs $166. Plus $49 shipping to Europe means $215, which is 200 €. After 24 % VAT and 3.7 % tarif that becomes 257 €. I paid a total of 264 € for my Cumulus Selva here in Finland (incl. shipping), so it was only 7 € more (and if I had ordered directly from Cumulus, it would have been 256 € incl. shipping). (And Selva is made with 850 European cuin goose down, which is equal to about 900 American cuin, whereas Economy Incubator is 800 American cuin duck down).
