Thanks, Dutch. Sounds like the 1.6 is not going away, then? Glad to hear it. I do like "cottonier"; both the hand of the fabric, and the use of the word.

Hexon 1.6 isn't going anywhere. It is made form Nylon 6,6 and IMO is the best mid range hammock fabric out there.

Always lookin' out for us common folk. I'm resisting the trigger finger also... since I actually just bought some fabric from you to make a wide hammock...though 30 bucks!!! C'mon Dutch let me have a happy marriage!

... it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission........ but it's hard to ask for forgiveness when she's not there..... but I would have a new hammock to keep me company...

My current go to hammock of many. I'm a bigger guy and i feel like i can really sprawl out in a Dutch wide. Perfect amount of stretch for me. I bought one as soon as i saw this to have a backup! I hope the 1.7 isn't too much different than 1.6.
