Hello, I have the Z-Liner its nice keeps me warmer when wet then down would. I would not pay full price, got my on sale. I can get down to 40 digresses maybe high 30’s. People get lower than that. I’m saving for a down under quilt maybe 10 digresses. Here is a link to down under quilts for clarks. https://www.locolibregear.com/gear.h...=0&sort=normal
Very badly ingeneered insulation imo: the uq is saggy and leaves a huge gap between you and the uq. Only the color is nice if they still make them in forest green.
I sent mine back to Clark for a partial refund and got the Locolibre one, which is proper insulation, although if I were you, I would ask George to make a regular secondary suspension on it instead of his gathered end system.
Mine seems to seal fairly well up against the bottom of my NX270 hammock when I'm in it but also better at the ends and seams. I can put a down rectangular sleeping bag I have in between for an extra layer to lower my temp comfort level a good bit without spending more money for now.
Works well for me. I put it permanently on the hammock in september and remove it in may. No need to use time to set up a quilt when I camp. It can be a litle untight in the ends, and I solve that with gaffetape. It could be nice if Clark sold a bag to an NX with z-liner.
My Clark North American is one of my 2 favorite hammocks - how disappointing that the original manufacturer's equipment is sub-standard, but good to know. I'll use George at Loco Libre. I have an EXCELLENT UQ for another manufacturer's hammock.
My zliner serves me well in my NX 250 down to about 40 deg, below that I break out my down uq. Synthetic ( the zliner) works well and Clarks is insulation is quality, but you have to remember, synthetic has its limits.

There would be no benefit. We designed the suspension specifically for the clark hammock. Rouskof had asked us to come up with a draft collar/secondary suspension because he was trying to make it work on his vertex. We never made that design, and I have no plans on doing so.
