That's one reason we do these group hangs Vicki, to help those that need it by passing along the knowledge. Another reason is because we like to eat!!! You witnessed that debauchery over the weekend!

What a great intro to the hammock hang trips. Great mix of friends and strangers all coming together to make something special. We definitely overindulged in everything and I have no regrets.
Many thanks to @goobie and the generous venders who help others get out and enjoy this hobby. Winning the raffle at our first gathering was very special.
So glad everyone enjoyed the home-made gernola bars (I know, I know, people want the recipe but Im sure Krysta made it up on the fly with whatever we had around the house.)
Thank you for setting this trip up. Great time and one of these trips I will make it more than one night. Oh by the way, I did end up spending more money after this last trip. I am no longer going to look at all the great equipment everyone has.
