My first night with the insulated uqp stacked with a quilt went very well. I hung the quilt as usual then attached the uqp underneath. I ordered the 10 foot version with extra length on the shock cords. I attached the uqp protector a little loose then snugged up the side adjustments so it hung slightly lower than the underquilt. It stayed in position all night. It only dropped to 30 degrees so not much of a test there. I used a 20 degree quilt set and the 3.6 uqp. I ended up to warm and had to partially uncover with the top quilt.

Nice! Initially I thought you had issues with the trail winder not staying centered ? I’m glad to hear the test went well!

Great reviews on Jared's new offering! I think the concept is great and it would be something I'd be tempted to try. The only hangup for me is that I flip and flop a lot at night and being locked into choosing a asym lay direction probably isn't for me.

I always enjoy seeing what Jared will come out with next!

I don't think that will ever happen. Jared reminds me of the man behind the curtain from the Wizard of Oz. The only difference is he's the Wizard of the thread injector!

Wonder what will be coming out of that magical shop in Bonner's Ferry next?
