Yar- I use floor protector still as my patterns. (Rhino Board). Simply because it's more portable.
One of these days I'll cut some hardboard ones again but they can take up a good bit of space.
But I tend to cut roughly 40 layers at a crack... so layout isn't a big killer for me. But it does rule out hot cutting as a result.

Very good looking bridge. I do like that Ariel pattern. It reminds me of a Chrysalis with the deep hourglass figure. And the colors are pleasing to the eye as well. Good job.

Also wondering on the complete weight including poles.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

It’s still going strong.... “ToTall”, here on the forums was the recipient of the first one I made. He is still using it. I have the second one and have logged more nights then I can count.

I really like what you have done with yours... it would be a good enhancement to the version I have been making... I’m anxious to hear your hang report.

    Hornblower,
-The weight of the hammock in the Bishop bag is 343 grams (this includes two Loopaliens at the ends-I know, not meant for hammock suspension)
-Weight with poles is 660 grams (two 18” .75 and two 18” .665 poles)
-Weight of hammock with suspension 414 grams (Dutch clips, spider 2.0 huggers, Amsteel to the loopaliens)
-Weight of entire rig 731 grams (hammock, suspension, spreader bars, and bishop bag)
Not too bad for a double layer I think.
    Hope that helps.
