    Shug mentioned surgical gloves for a base layer. Tried it for the first time last night. They are amazing. Tried to sleep with them on and hands got sweaty.

    As a result of this test I made the following changes:

    1. Ridgeline hardware, because tying a truckers hitch with gloves on is zero fun.
    2. I placed loops of shock-cord with tarp tensioners on my corners. A loop around the far end of the cord so I just hammer in the stake, through the loop over it, and tighten the line. All with gloves on.
