First DIY Hammock, 1.7 mountain XL

Got my package from Ripstop by the Roll. 4 yards of 1.7 Mountain XL, Burnt Orange. Same color Amsteel for the ridgeline and constant loops. I have an adjustable zingit ridge on there until I play with the lenght a bit. Came out good and super comfortable. Stitch line leave something to be desired but easy to stitch and got a nice tight stitch in it. That material is wide. almost thinking of doing an inch on each side hem just to see how it will work, Im 6'3 too. Material cradles without stretching to much under my 240 lb butt. Nice flat lay with no calf ridge. Anyhow, Im happy with how it turned out.

Nice! You have to be careful with kids and hammocks. If I set up a hammock, my oldest jumps in before I can. Only way that I get in first is if they are asleep. Looks great!
