Thumbs up Oh the joy of being proved right

When I suggested I wanted to go full time hanging at home to try and cure regular sciatica and lower back pain I was met with some sceptism from the family. I have been full time hanging for a year now apart from a couple of weeks

Yesterday after a particularly hard decorating session my wife turns to me and says you haven't had any back problems since sleeping in your hammock have you

Ha! That was her way of saying you were right! Enjoy that, you're not going to get it any more direct are you? LOL

Good for you. My wife has back issues and has a tough time getting to sleep, but she refuses to try a hammock. Several (expensive) mattresses have not helped.
I on the other hand sleep great regularly in a $35 Dutch Argon hammock (or my Hennessy).
Hammocks are a good inexpensive solution for some folks back/sleeping issues.

    I second that emotion.

I will add an Amen to this one. I have L4 & L5 disc issues and my hammock is the only sleep where I don't have to constantly roll from side to side to relieve pain. Love it!

I used to travel with a portable collapsible hammock to help with my back issues of days gone by.

Lol cant agree more. i am stuck again at work, worked third shift and because of a meeting, i am being stubborn and staying here till three for a dumb training class. i am bored silly, sitting on a couch. most people would be like great a couch time for a nap nope not me. i cant sleep laying down on a bed, couch or whatever anymore it does not feel right. i toss and turn and cant sleep and i usually need a motrin after trying not worth it.

I agree, I sleep in a hammock every night for a over a year now. My back is not sore when I get up, my shoulders don’t hurt anymore, and I sleep better in general.
