Hello,
Just joined as a member. I’ve been hammock camping for about a year and have a hammock gear underquilt. I’m looking for a 0 degree UQ for winter camping. I want to try out another company. Any suggestions? Looking to stay under $200-250.

Hammock Gear has an economy line and I believe their Econ Incubator is about $180
Welcome to the forums from another Michigander. I've had great success with my 0 degree full length Economy Incubator from Hammock Gear. This is my second season with it and it's kept me very comfortable in below 0 weather.
I'd also recommend going to a group hang and checking out other setups. Ludington is coming up next weekend and we've got the Green Timbers Hang the last weekend of February.
Tons of great info on the forums!

He makes great gear. Have his hammock and TQ. I have the 3 season TQ and I was below the recommended limit with ease.
Loco Libre has a saver series as well that could keep you in that price range. I'm all about saving money, but I have found personally that I would rather make the investment and buy one time. There isn't anything wrong with my Hammock Gear economy quilts, but in the end I would have rather spent a little more to save the weight difference.
With that being said, my Carolina Reaper from LL was one of my best hammocking investments.

PM'd you regarding my zero.

There is a 0 degree in the for sale sign in right now, but it is a Hammock Gear Incubator.
I use Loco Libre quilts, and can't say enough good things about them. But I would also recommend UGQ or Cedar Ridge Outdoors.

I have a 40 degree HG Phoenix Econ for summer backpacking that I LOVE. Was around $180ish. That being said, I just got an almost brand new Warbonnet 0 degree off of a backpacking trade group. It took about two months of checking the group every couple of days but, I saved about $70 and got what I needed.

Also recommend Arrowhead. Jarbridge 4 season is $125.00 right now. He also has full length for $205. Production time in days not weeks. There is a free shipping option now. No financial interest in the business, just a satisfied customer.
