Yep, they get pulled right in. A bit of leftover has to be tucked in. As long as you don’t fuss with your lines no tangling. The one piece rolls up into a nice spiral as well for packing.

As I use a two pieces snake skins, the ridgeline (Dutchware ridgeline with prussiks) goes to the pockets on each end. Guy lines I use mini S-biners attached to the D-rings for easy connect, so I remove them when the tarp is snake sikinned.

If you us a continuous ridgeline, the skin goes over that too. I use a split ridgeline, and just wrap it around the tarp after rolling it up. The guylines stick out the end, and I just wrap those up together figure 8 style and tuck them in the end before closing.

I've never had a problem with line tangling.

Thanks - sounds slighter easier than using the 2 piece snakeskins. I’ll have to give it a try.

Thanks. I prefer to keep my guylines on the tarp but interesting to see how others do it.

I use the split ridgeline and do something similar with the 2 piece snakeskins - except I skip the figure 8 piece. I double up the ridgeline cord and just wind it around the end of the snakeskin. Same result.

To clarify, I do the same thing with my ridgeline cordage. The guylines are what get figure 8 wrapped and stuffed in the end of the snakeskin.

    Gotcha.
Try it without figure 8 piece sometime - big time saver and very little (if any) tangle. Though I know some can’t get past how it looks disorganized.

I'm not a stickler for having things super organized. But the figure 8 wrap takes me about 5 seconds. I figure it would take me about the same amount of time to just gather the cord haphazardly and shove it in.

I just throw mine in the tarp as I'm rolling it to put in my loofah snakeskin. Then I roll the whole thing up and wrap the loose end of my ridgeline with the Dutch hook to hold it all together.

I added kam snaps to my two-piece mesh skins from Dutch. Now I have the best of both with minimal weight penalty.

Anyone know what mesh the snakeskins from HG are made of? I am currently using a loofa, but it's starting to show some serious wear. I worry about the mesh catching on the Dutch bling and ripping (like my loofa!) Is it Noseeum mesh, or something with larger holes in it?
