Introducing 1.0 oz MONOLITE Ripstop Nylon Mesh

The breathability of noseeum mesh combined with the durability of fabrics twice as heavy. Today we're extremely proud to introduce 1.0 oz MONOLITE Ripstop Nylon Mesh to the community...

Ultralight woven fabrics are great for quilts and garments. But durability can take a nosedive for stressing applications like hammocks and bags.

MONOLITE was specifically developed to combat this problem. Constructed with a unique monofilament yarn and mesh weave, this fabric has the best durability we've EVER seen for the weight - and by a wide margin.

But don't take our word for it. Here's a quick video:

In this video, we only showed a comparison to 0.9 oz Noseeum and 1.1 oz Ripstop Nylon, but the same thing holds when comparing to much heavier fabrics.

In a nutshell, this fabric breaks the mold as it can be used for:

    1) Ultralight Hammock Fabric

    and/or

    2) Super Durable Noseeum Mesh

Used as a hammock fabric, it's strong plus much more resistant to snagging and abrasion than fabrics of similar weight (e.g. 1.1 oz Ripstop Nylon).

As a mesh, it simply blows away traditional options like 0.9 oz Noseeum. It's stronger, way more durable, and insanely breathable with a CFM over 1000 (you can access our full data sheet here).

Lastly, whether used as a fabric or mesh, it's stiffer with more structure than your typical ultralight fabric. This makes it VERY easy to sew.

I'm not sure when this will make it out to vendors, but it's available for DIY right now. We're really excited about this one if you can't tell. So much so that we're launching with 15% OFF regular pricing for the next week. Just use code "MONO-15" at checkout when you place an order.

As always, thanks so much for your continued support of what we do. . Feel free to comment here with any questions...
