Another hello from Florida

Hello,

I am a hiker, ultralighter and tent dweller but went all-in on hammocks recently. One of my friends is also an ultralight guy and he and I do big miles (20+ miles) then eat and crash out to do it all over again the next day. Here in Florida, I have friends that like to hike three or four miles then lounge around in hammocks and my gear just wasn’t setup for that. I’ve watched Shug’s videos over the years but recently got back into them and others to learn as much as I could about hammock gear and made some purchases.

I’m looking forward to learning from this community and meeting up when I can.

Welcome to the forums. I'm a bit north of you here in Georgia. Impressive mileage there, sweetsdream. Most I've ever done is a shade over 16 in a single day on the AT up here.
