    The only (hmm... well one) issue with Becket is that it does not work Amsteel-on-Amsteel, which I employ in the hybrid setup that I am using. J-bend does work Amsteel/Amsteel.

    Tested this today and it did work, although a bit difficult to untie with Amsteel/Amsteel.

    Got the 1.5 spider straps and set up my hammock a dozen times today practicing that becket Hitch. SOLD! Love the simplicity, easy to set up, strong hold, ultra light. I’m gonna stick with this knot for a few weeks to remember it and then I’ll test out that j bend. I do have to spread out the straps after using but that’s a small price to pay for all the benefits from using these straps.
