Peeeeetey, I’m bringing mosquito net. Mine is separate from hammock. A built in net might be better—this is what I got.
I hope you and yours are getting over flu or whatever it was.
I’m getting interested in hike in camping—short miles only.
Gunner&Terminator do you reckon we will have good weather at Medoc Mountain?
Also for hammock campers who have not been to Medoc Mountain—there’s peoples yards here in Denton with hills higher than Medoc Mountain.
It was the highest point surveyed up to that point by surveyors starting at the coast of North Carolina.
Level smooth hiking trails, scenic river, men’s and women’s bathrooms- multiple stalls and multiple sinks and two showers in both? I’ve not been in women’s bathroom. Picnic tables, garbage cans and lots of trees. Gunner&Terminator picked a great place.
I got to look at Joes BBQ up close and personal.
I’ve known Joe and his family for most of my life. This is no guarantee, but I’m thinking they use hardwood and charcoal to smoke their BBQ with no boost from gas or electric. Anyway their food has a tender smoked flavor and it is not burnt.
Now I’m gonna burn food a little bit at Medoc—otherwise I won’t know I’m camping
