We are going to be fair weather campers and miss this hang. I hope you all stay dry and the weather misses y’all!

Abby was bitten on snout by a large copperhead snake. Gunner and Terminator are taking Abby to veterinarian now.
We hope for a full recovery, which is the most likely outcome and vet bills under two thousand dollars, although they can be more but unlikely.
Mike and Mica came with their fantastic family and there are multiple canopies being put to good use.
Our most senior camper Miller Gear or his trail name Gear Man will provide leadership and high morale as we wait for our fearless leaders to return triumphant from vet. We will do our part by drinking hot coffee to dry our wet boots and preface all “true” stories with “ You ain’t gonna believe this shit”
Now we are faced with the daunting task of eating all our food with two less people and two less dogs. Sam decided to go with Abby and Gunner &Terminator.
My predictions are
Rain
Coffee
Abby full recovery
Overall a cozy hang
We are gonna find out in morning how much we miss the awesome culinary skills of Gunner& Terminator as we wake up without them. But we have some diamonds in the rough:
Slugger
GearMan
Loki
And connoisseur Phantom Grappler
Sorry to hear about Abbys incident with a copperhead but they are out. Heavy rain here 60 miles away from Medoc, waiting for storm to pass and should be there around noon. Wife not attending.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
Tacoma come on down
You are hardcore
We have ham sandwich fixins for you to snack on whenever you are hungry
Good conversations under various pop up canopies
Gunner &Terminator have returned
Abby is at vets clinic for care and observation
Raining at Medoc, but we ain’t letting anything stop us from having a good time
Coffee tastes better when ☔️ raining
I’m having to juryrig my tarp ridge—it’s got a dimple or trough that fills into a rain puddle—has not leaked yet—only a matter of time until failure
I’m eventually going to get a new tarp and possibly stop using my off the wall suspension Kokomo and switch to separate suspensions for tarp and hammock
I can look at this as bad mess
Or I can enjoy playing with better ways to rig my tarp and hammock
The offending snake after the jury ruled.

Keep your feet on the ground and your minds in the woods!
Still raining heavy here, might sit this hang out and spend time with the family.
