    Gorgeous place! WOW!!!

I'm still struggling through winter construction of my home on the side of the White Mountains. I guess between us, we will keep the New England population steady, LOL.

    Congrats Ted!
Awesome view! We will miss you at these wee little gatherings.

My house in MA went on the market yesterday. No firm plans on the next location, but likely NH later in the year.
Been moving steadily northward over the years, will probably stop sometime before I reach Canadialand.
Wouldn't want to get to far from our little flock of hangers.

Pity... I would have loved for you to have had my home here along the NH border...

Hey Ted, so glad this all worked out for you. We will miss you but will hope for seeing you again sometime. Enjoy your new home, it looks lovely. Maybe you will get some snow in the winter being up that high and all.

They say that there are a half-dozen days a year when you can't get up or off, either because of snow and ice or just downed trees. 25 full double-backs on one approach, 12 on the other.

Amusingly, the road itself is counted as one of the area's most strenuous hikes.

The Lovely elfLiza and I have bought a home up on a mountainside 1800' above Columbus, NC and we will be gone from New England within 30 days.

This means I will probably have to miss this years hangs with yous'n's... We topped our budget, so long trips are gonna have to get second [mebbe tenth] place in our planning for a while.
However, we do get this view....

Ignore the wine decanter... I'm still safe and boring. They "staged" the house. This view is from the second floor, same view downstairs but out more windows. And we get all the furniture.
===> The very best of luck with the new place to you both, Ted! Looks gorgeous!

We'll all miss you up here in the Great White North!

Ted, it's perfect!!! I see enough trees for ALL OF US. Road trips are always in my future, don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and find me in my RR overlooking that beautiful view. Have a safe move pal.

Newbie here. Just booked July 12-14 to join the fun. Weather permitting, my plan is to bikepack to camp bringing one of my as-yet untested setups. Hopefully I'll get a chance beforehand to test and choose which i like best! Looking forward to meet-ups and being social. -Michael

    GoGz~~ [and everyone!]

    "Y'all kumondown" as they say...
Pairs were the second thing I looked for after the view... got several, room for several frames, and several more pairs if you don't mind a high-low downslope. Plus, I haven't even walked out in the real woods going around the mountainside... that is all undeveloped and adjoins the Green River Game Lands Preserve and Green River Gorge.
Safe to say, we-B-hangin'... we could call it the "Harold Goes South" Hang!

GG~~ remember the Da elf is 420-friendly...!!
