    Great report and loved the pictures. I'm out on a 3 day trip in my hot tent here in northern michigan. Nice way to "rough" it.

    In this case not very far at all...3/4 of a km..more about getting to a easy access remote lake and just see how the sled works, packs, hauls etc

    Excellent. It's not about the distance but rather the solitude in winter for me.

    Solitude it was ...pure dead nut silence...other than the wood stove chirpin...

    Suppose to be now, cause it changes by the hr hahaha, another chill coming for this weekend...want to test out the Atuk Kanguk Hot Tent and hang the hammock separate.

    I really wanna do something like this some day. I dont know anything about hot tents but ive seen a few and wanna try it some day.

    How expensive is it to get everything you need for something like this?
