Hey Hangers,
We are about a month out and i thought i would put out some ideas on what you guys want to do. We have a few people that wanted to go Kayaking last year and we can drop you guys off at the kayak launch down the road and pick you up in West point. That is the New Meadows River and it travels down to the Atlantic. But is is a great kayak trip through the island and a lot of scenic areas. For People whi want to travel somewher else let me know. The restaurant will be open this year and the menu has been expanded and we will be serving breakfast. Again the the cost of camping is $10.00 per night per person and please bring cash as we can keep our cost down and we can keep at $10,00 per person. You can use CC or Debit cards for anything else in campground. We will be doing a Lobster Bake this year so everyone can eat together. Last year we cooked about 73 lobsters and our pots can't handle all those at one time so a bake will be the way to go. I haven't got a price on that yet. waiting for lobster to come down a little more.
Here is hoping this finds you all well and we are looking forward to seeing our friends again and of course the seasonals are all asking "are the hangers coming agian?"

I'm looking forward to coming to my first one. I have an 11 foot kayak (whitewater/crossover). Is that doable for the stretch you mentioned? I've done some short ocean treks with it (< 3 miles), but nothing extreme. I'm trying to decide if I should bring it or if I'd just get in the way of faster paddlers.
Sorry to miss this! Moved to WA! I used my beloved hammock chair last weekend. The one I won at this awesome hang!

I'd rather be hanging.
I will be bringing a kayak and can bring a second one if someone needs it. Just let me know. They are both appropriate for ocean travel at 17 and 15.5 feet. My wife will be coming with me this year so we're bringing our camper. I already spoke with Tom and have a site near the action.

Thanks for the update Tom!
Will there be a raffle again this year?
