    NEHHA 2019 Winter Hang

Figured I would start a thread for pictures and trip reports. We had a great weekend! Well, despite temps only getting down to mid 20's and rain all Saturday.

===> Great pics! I missed it this year, love the spot! Is that a Squirrel or Rabbit on the spit? Love it!

Squirrel! I won the wrought iron squirrel roaster at the spring hang last year so too it upon myself to harvest game to share and use it for it's proper use! It does work for most any beast though...

Some more pictures. Jason brought that gross jelly bean game, food, Alfredo disaster, Lawson tarp things, my view from my hammock, the dam and river, and I got a D brand for Christmas which I just HAD to use at the hang!

===> More great pics! I love Squirrel, very versatile protein! Roasted, baked, braised - Jambalaya, Squirrel Stew, Pulled Squirrel Sloppy Joes, ground Squirrel (need to add some beef fat, they are pretty lean)....possibilites are endless! I recently purchased a Gamo Whisper Fusion .177 cal air rifle for small game. 1420fps muzzle velocity. Super quiet. 3×9 reticled scope. Awesome for Squirrels and Rabbits!

Also use, and love those Aluminum Line Tensioners from Lawson!
The food all looked great (as usual, at ANY Nehha hang!), and the area is always beautiful!
    Thanks again!

Absolutely fantastic time!! Three times on the way home Michelle said "I wish we could have stayed longer". She had a great time and looks forward to more. All of my pics are mostly what have already been shown, but I did get a shot of Eric on ice.
