    OH-January 2019 Planning thread.

Well, I got out this past weekend for my first hang of 2019, but that is no reason not to get out again! Anybody have a desire to get out this month?

For my first hang this year, Diz, MadTurleCreek and I made a last minute plan to get out. RedWing got hung up at work and was missed! Great weather and my rig performed flawlessly. Nice and toasty both nights. (I'll post a temp log after I clean up my gear!)

Like I said, very pleasant weather!

Because you can't have to much firewood!

I wish I could. But my work schedule is one week at a time right now, pending a major promotion. So, for the time being, the soonest I can plan anything, is the first weekend in February.

Long time no see. I would like to get out and do some winter camping. Haven’t been out in a while. I can probably make any weekend work. Anyone else want to get out in the cold?

I’m definitely interested in getting out for some cold weather camping. I’m kinda regretting volunteering to work OT this weekend, but I’m behind at work and I have bills to pay.

This weekend is no good. Especially since we are supposed to get a bunch of snow tomorrow. I would be up for trying to put something together next weekend. Low temps should be in the teens.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to be traveling far with what is coming, but I’d love to be out there tonight for the fresh snow.

So what would you be thinking next weekend?
Mohican site 9, 10 or 4 if available?

I am in Jefferson county. I am currently seeking a new place to hang. The two local campgrounds, for whatever reason, are cutting trees, they both have cut enough that there isn't enough trees for a group of 2 or 3 to hang from. Despite the fact that I have a turtle dog stand, I still prefer hanging from trees.
If you all know of any place, please let me know. Thank you.

Supposed to be -9 tomorrow night. I'll probably be going to Delaware State Park of 23 in Columbus. Roads will probably be to trashed to make it to mohican or zaleski in a reasonable amount of time.

Anyone wants to join, feel free.

I was planning on hanging in my yard tomorrow to see how low I can go... The lowest I've gone is ~10F, so I think I need a bail out option!
