    Lightbulb In Search of Like Minded Hangers

    Attention Colorado Hangers;

    I am seeking like minded individuals looking for a winter hang. Probably just an over-nighter depending on what everyone feels like.
    Prefer to Disperse Camp (aka free camping or primitive camping) in some national forest land but not terribly particular.
    If you are interested PM me - Looking to head out late January or potentially February. I Will need about a week to plan so please give me ample time to clear my schedule if interested.

    Hey Gilly,

    I’d be interested in an over nighter sometime soon. I relocated to Denver about a year and a half ago. I’d say I’m a fairly experienced hanger, however, I do not have any experience in CO, so it’d be nice to go with someone that knows their way around. I haven’t been out in a couple of years, but could most likely hike in up to 8-10 miles depending on the terrain and pace.

    I also saw a couple of guys looking to do the same in the thread below… which is where I found your thread.

    Let me know if you’re still up for it.

    Yeah I'll have to see here. The next couple weeks might be tricky but absolutely.

    Checking in from your thread today in r/hammockcamping - though I'm just a lurker here! I'm pretty much a 3 season novice hammocker/experienced backpacker in FoCo who sticks to the Rawah/Roosevelt areas, but I mostly solo so I'd be interested in a group trip or two this spring/summer. I can do 7-10 miles a day depending on the terrain and pace, but now that I'm in my early 40s I generally favor an easy-going, moderate pace to savor the sights.

    I’d definitely be up for a hang, pretty much any time of year. Though i mostly do Fri-Sun trips, but occasionally I could swing a mid-week trip.

    Currently trying to plan a few trips for the next few months. Probably a few overnighters, and one or two multi-day trips. I’ll post them here (on hammock forums) as they come up.

    5/22 overnight to 5/23
    Maiden voyage for my cousin's hammock and his tarp. Probably somewhere Northern Colorado more than likely in red feather area.
    Hit me up/pm me if this is something you might want to do. Aside from the dates nothing set in stone.
