    Tarp door q

Since I have the ridge runner Hammock I know this topic has been covered over and over and I’ve read as much on this site as I can I still can’t decide. Would my best choice be a cloudburst with the door option or the Superfly I’m guessing the issue with the suspension would be the same for both. Any pictures that you guys could share with either tarp with the door closed would be great I’m not looking for complete 100% closure just a little bit more protection from the rain when it blows the length of the set up. Thank you so much.

I know it’s not one of your options, but UGQ has a 12’ and a 13’ winterdream tarp that snaps both doors closed, keeping rain out. The one thing I like about it is I can unsnap a few buttons at the top for my hammock suspension to feed through. It does a really good job keeping the rain and other elements out.

I watched a video this morning about the UGQ Winter Dream 13, and the guy in the video said he and his wife both have ridgerunners, and the inside of the tarp with the pole mods looked positively cavernous. Here’s a link https://youtu.be/64PYY5VkJQ0

I added a couple of kam snaps to my superfly doors, but rarely use them. The biggest must in my opinion for a tarp being used with a bridge is the pole mod that a lot of them offer.

I had the same question and contacted WB regarding. Their suggestion was to skip both and do a mountainfly with a 13' Ridgeline.
