    I work for a power company and we cut up old poles all the time. It would be worth ans ask for sure.
    I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

    My current post height is 6' and the bottom of the 2x4 is just less than 5'6" (next time I'm certain that it will be higher than my forehead.) My 2x4 was 14' and it's buried a couple of inches in each post ... without measuring, distance between posts is about 13'8". My favorite tarp is 12'x10' and has a diagonal of 15'8". If I were doing it again I'd go 16' or more.
