Still packing, ugh. Gotta get some sleep.
Not all who wander are lost.
For anyone still coming, you can't drive up to the shack you need to snowshoe in
To only step where others have stepped means not to have your own adventures. Live, Love, and Adventure so you may leave your own foot prints!
Thanks so much Mrs. Tumble and tumbleweed, another great da shack hang

Hi All, Tumbleweed here.
Just got in from ""Da shack" February Hang. WOW ! Had a grand time with windy, zero degree nights. About 20 people showed up along with a lot of food choices. Thanks for making the additional snow shoe trails. Carol and I will use them till spring meltdown.
A huge THANK YOU to those who donated funds to help cover expenses. That was seriously appreciated, but not necessary!
I have been asked to post my PayPal account so others could donate. It is: [email protected]. Please PM me to confirm transaction.
The Cremation of Sam MaGee literally made my weekend. So many memories there.

The long snowshoe trek across the desolate snow desert:
The desolate, but beautiful, bush country:

I'm not actually marking out a desolate grave site, just packing down a space for my hammock. Honest.
This rendition of Da Shack Hang was anything but desolate. Lots of people (new, old, tents, hammocks, etc) and scrumptious food prepared by outdoor chefs and indoor culinary wizards. It was a treat to spend extra time with Mrs. Tumble - great stories about the history of Da Shack land. A huge THANK YOU to Tumbleweed himself for his efforts in snowblowing a parking lot (at least 15 vehicles at one point) and breaking a trail to the best place on earth this weekend.
The game is the best teacher.
We were out on the snowshoe trails today (Monday), and all Carol (wifey) could say was: "WOW, best snowshoe trails EVER".
A Big THANK YOU to all of you folks for making this happen.

Did someone say "snow shoes?"
I know that there are other pics that were taken that had even more equipment staged outside Da Shack. Please post if you have a good one!
The game is the best teacher.
