With 10"-15" of snow in next week's forecast, the scavenger hunt will be:

    1. find a parking spot
    2. bust a trail by pulk to Da Shack

Hope my Civic can manage the roads. Are the county plows pretty active on Fridays or do they head for a fish fry at 4:00 in the afternoon?
The game is the best teacher.

Hi All, Tumbleweed here. Snowplows have built an 18 inch hard ridge of snow along highway T. Snow depth after this ridge was about 10 - 12 inches.

Plan on parking at the homestead which is 200 yards north of the Ice Age Trail sign on highway "T". Back up plan would be to shuttle vehicles to the Iola Sports Club lot, west end.

Today / Saturday I snowblowed the top 8-10 inches at the homestead, enough for about 10 vehicles. More snow is forecast, and I will deal with the new stuff mid-week.

My cell phone is 715-572-5342 to coordinate.

Still plan on "humping to da bump" or will getting to Da Shack be adventure enough?

Hi, T here... Going to set up hot tent on the dogger site. Will not hump to da bump, although if anyone wants to set up there, that's fine.
Looks like maintaining a snowshoe trail from homestead to shack will be challenging enough looking at snow forecasts. Been using snowblower to keep homestead open for vehicles.

Unable to make it there this weekend, out of commission for a while. Sounds like it would be a ton of fun and challenges. Have a great time, look forward to pictures.

Ok, put my name on the spread sheet. From the looks of it'll be a snowy mess all day Friday, so I'm gonna head for DA SHACK right after work, that is if the weather permits it...
