Hey Bobo, if I don't hear back from fishing Jim I'll go the first weekend. Otherwise, let me know when you have some time and we can go and fish. Besides trout, I have some good small mouth water access. Getting ready to buy a kayak and want to plan a float and hang trip. Enjoy the Yates hang. I'm gonna check out the forum link to that hang and get some info for maybe next year for me. Where is it exactly
Ok, I did try to change my weekend but it was a no go. Set a time and place to meet up when it gets closer. I’ll have to get a license I have everything else. I hope others will join.
What say you jcksparow
Wonderful. I will post directions, where to get license, and meet location and time soon. Does everyone want to fend for themselves for food or cook? I can make some chilli or something that's easy to warm up. There is a gas station that has a restaurant inside it that is very close as well. Up to you all.
Doesn’t matter to me I can make a deer stew that is not bad if I do say so myself.
Heck yeah. Sounds good to me.
Let's plan to meet at 2 pm in Damascus. There is a gas station on the right just past the red train caboose called Cowboys. Easy place to find and central to the streams. As far as license goes, I assume everyone will be taking interstate 81 so take exit 14 toward Damascus. On the left no more than half a mile is a Walmart. Stock up on supplies and get your license. Besides my hammock gear, I'm bringing a propane burner or Coleman stove ( not sure which yet) along with hotdogs and buns. Fishing Jim is bringing dear stew. Otherwise bring what you want. Invite whoever. Tents welcome. No rules, just have fun.
A friend of mine and his dog might join us. He doesn’t fish but he is a hiker if the dog comes they will be using a tent.
