    Dutchware Ti Beetle Buckles

More often though I don't need the whoopie slings and attach the Beetles directly to the hammock's continuous loops.

I love marlinspike/toggle. Was my original way of learning so I still go that route.

Used marlin spike for many years. Recently started experimenting with using a jbend.

In Shug's picture make note the loop in the Whoopie Sling goes over the knot, not the toggle itself. It is very important and he stresses it greatly in his video.

I larks head the whoopie to the strap, then I use Dutch Beeners to connect to the hammock CLs.

MSH or J-Bend depending on the mood at the moment.

If I were still using whoopies I'd use MSH/toggle, with whoopie fixed ends connected directly to hammock sewn channels. You could still use that with fairly closely spaced trees.
