Bought one a month ago at Cabelas. Plan to tow it in my sled for this winter's scout camp. Hot peach cobbler, mmm mmm! Almost pie in an hammock!
All I put on my wish list this year is an Evernew Ti .6L cook pot and an "official" Fancee Feast stove from Zelph. And if they are not under the tree on December 25th, both will be ordered on December 26th.

Sweet! I try to cook one meal a month in one of mine, even at home. Every year, I make Alton Brown's overnight cinnamon rolls in my aluminum (1970s vintage) DO for Christmas breakfast. Nothing better!
Oh, and back on topic, I'm giving my son a set of homemade whoopie slings and new tree straps. O haven't gotten him to embrace sleeping in a hammock, but he enjoys lounging on scout trips.
All I got that was hammock related is a pair of Dutch 15ft Spider Poly Straps so now I carry a 10 and a 15footer because invariably one of the trees I find is going to be significantly larger than the other.I like to match them with a Beetle and hang off the CL.
Hello, TheRollingRook!
Nothing commercial is on my list -- just time to sew up the materials I bought before LAST Christmas to make quilts.
And while we're in the realm of wishful thinking, better weather for 2019.
My wife doesn't buy me hiking gear because she has no idea what interests me. I bought her hiking "convertible mittens" because we hike weekly in the rainy cold PNW and she has issues keeping them warm.
But... I bought a Hammock Gear TQ, UQ and zippered hammock that arrived on Saturday so I got an early Christmas present.
Here is one of my little ones tucked in.
More love and less hate in the world....
