My Well Travelled Hammock

So six weeks ago, I purchased a Dutchware Chameleon hammock through the forums (Thanks Benfishen!) However in a "Doh!" moment, I gave the wrong post office box and the hammock was returned to sender. So it had to be repackaged and resent. And thanks to the vagrancies of USPS and Canada post, the routes were different each way. So according to the tracking records of the shipments. My hammock has travelled the following route to get to me:

3. West Valley City UT
4. Los Angeles, CA
5. Mississauga ON
6. Ottawa ON
7. Almonte ON
8. Ottawa ON
9. Mississauga ON
10. Chicago IL
11.Salt Lake City UT
12. Lehi UT
13. Eagle Mountain UT
14. Boise ID
15. San Francisco, CA
16. Richmond BC
17. Ottawa ON
18. Almonte ON

At this point my hammock has travelled more than I have!

All well that ends well. Looking forward to my first winter hang in my new hammock.

That's a mere 17,150 km (10,657 miles) via a road route. When I gently sway in my hammock, I travel to space and beyond. Enjoy your upcoming hang!

N.B. I'm on a work break and therefore for the next 11 days I do not have a life (nor do I want one) so I have time to plug locations into mileage calculators.

Maybe you should make a goal of going to all the places your hammock has visited and hang out there.
