Send that back in and I will do a professional repair with the same print. Luckily it is small.

Now you can't beat that can you? ^^^^ Way to go Dutch!
I was going to suggest a bonded repair using a small piece of fabric and Silnet diluted with mineral spirits.. 1:3.
I bond all the reinforcement patches to my tarps using this method and not a single application has lifted.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....
Bob's brother-in-law
I've got to take issue with the assertion that Xenon is in any way cheap or like tissue paper. I've got one. It's a much lighter weight tarp than others I had previously, packs down nice and small and has been very satisfactory. Being a thinner, lighter material it may be slightly more susceptible to punctures but the OP said this hole was from "high winds" that sent a "branch" not a twig through the tarp. Heavier tarp fabrics may resist punctures better than Xenon fabric. They're also heavier. The trade-off is up the individual buyer.
"...the height of hammock snobbery!"
I like the way my Xenon tarp packs down small.I had a small branch poke a hole thru the roof of my house once and end up in the room over the garage. If it happens, sil nylon ain't gonna stop it!
Dutch service to the rescue! If he did the repair with a Waldo print you’d have a nice campsite game built in.
I’m sorry if my original post was confusing. We actually had tornado warnings the other day. Although our campsite didn’t get a direct hit, the winds were pretty high. I’m sure you’re familiar with how tornadoes can cause tremendous damages to buildings. We left our campsite to seek refuge in a concrete building. I consider it impressive that this was the only damage to the tarp.
But thank you for your opinion. I’m sure someone may appreciate your wisdom.
