    Darien

Just ordered a Darien single layer in the 1.2 xl black. Hope the 11 footer solves my calf ridge issue.

Dream Hammock is awesome! I have a Raven, and don't have calf ridge issues. Mine is Hyper D 1.6 though. Not apples to apples, but most folks are quite pleased with their Dream Hammocks.

Can you tie the bug net back in the Darien if you want it down?
A true optimist is someone that plants two acorns and buys a hammock.

the bugnet is attached to the hammock on one side and a zipper on the other side, you can flip it over the ridgeline to get it out of your way but you can't tie it back.

here is a good review of the Darien: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgyQZy4X_TM&t=3s

You can, and they've sewn in a little grosgrain tab which I think is there for attaching some light shock cord, or some such... took me a while to figure out its purpose, but with it being at the widest point of the asym net that makes sense.

or you could just attach something with weight to is with a carabiner and those it over the ridgeline

Indeed, almost any kind of very light weight item tied with a string.

I have a single layer Darien in 1.7 robic in burnt orange 11ft x 64" wide. Lovin it. I also have a sparrow. I may have to get a fully symmetrical bug net for my sparrow or I may opt for a Raven in 1.2 Robic double layer...I am intrigued by the possibilities.
