Warbonnet Blackbird original to XLC

For those that have made the switch from the original to the xlc did you notice a difference in the calf pressure in the longer hammock? I have my original for sale, but just can't decide between the xlc and a Dream Hammock Darien. Thanks for the help.

I've never had calf ridge in either of my Warbonnets but the XLC is so much more comfortable that the original for me and the fact that it is longer should help with calf ridge. Just as a point of reference I'm only 5'9" and the XLC was more comfortable for me.

Going from BB to BBXLC I found the comfort to be very similar except the XLC was more forgiving to pitch, original BB I had to dial it in perfectly to avoid calf ridge, XLC I can sleep pretty good even if I didn't get the pitch just right.

Also because its longer the XLC ridgeline is higher giving more internal space, better lounging.

I have no experience with Darien.

I have the Traveler and XLC dual 1.7's. I've noticed that calf ridge when laying too diagonally. When lying diagonally just shy of center, I have no issue. I still need to put in more nights though.

EDIT: 5' 11'' @ 170 lbs.

I am so comfortable in my BB that I cannot even believe when people are finding the XLC even more....I want to make the switch just to see if there is an even more comfort and lounging options?
