Took the Solo backpacking with me, let me hang out in base camp with my friends who Tent. Otherwise I would of had to go to the other side of the clearing where there were more tree options.
Does anyone know what the weight difference is between the Trekking Treez and the Solo I’d imagine the carbon wall thickness has to be fairly thick and the differences therefore may not be huge.
Correct. The lightest Solo config (Amsteel, 30cm Boomstakes) is currently 80g/2.8oz per side heavier than Trekking Treez with 30cm Boomstakes. The difference is that with TT, you subtract the weight of the trekking poles you'd otherwise bring. (Less than half the total weight of TT is in your hand as a trekking pole or pair of same.)
So if you don't already use trekking poles, the weight savings of TT over Solo is minor, but is significant if you do. And given that a main complaint about trekking poles is that they break, ours are heavy enough that that's very unlikely. Lighter than a hiking staff, but strong enough to be used in similar manner, just one bearing all your weight.

Thanks Latherdome that’s useful to know.
I do think that some YouTube On the Solo would be good to see and I’m sure would make a lot of difference for potential buyers as there does not seem to be much to see on the system being used.
I know you are right. Our Tensa4 video is out of date as well. I've got a much better handle on my anxiety than, say, 2 years ago, but I still find it very hard to relax enough on video to make an effective presentation. Perfectionism and lack of equipment doesn't help much either!

Sorry to read about your anxiety Latherdome And making videos is something of a skill in itself.
When I posted I wasn’t specifically meaning you and was thinking of purchasers out there. I’m sure it will happen soon enough someone will do a great review. Take care.
I’ll be ordering some TT for the upcoming season
